Antidumping Investigation on Coil Nails from China
Today, the Ministry of Economy published the notice of Notice of initiation of the antidumping investigation concerning welded wire coil nails from China in the Official Gazette of the Federation. In this post, you will find all the relevant information concerning this investigation.
Petitioner
The company that requested the initiation of the antidumping investigation is the Mexican producer, Deacero S.A.P.I. de C.V.
Investigated Product
The commercial name of the product is welded wire coil nails, also known as collated nails, coil nails or pneumatic nails.
Mexican Tariff Item
Welded wire coil nails are imported into national territory under the tariff items 7317.00.99 and 9802.00.01 of the Mexican HTS.
Normal Value
To determine the normal value of the welded wire coil nails, the Ministry of Economy resorted to the domestic prices of China using the information from the website https://www.1688.com/.
Period of Investigation (Dumping)
On the one hand, the Ministry of Economy determined that the period of investigation is from April 1st, 2023, to March 31st, 2024. The period of investigation is the timelapse used to analyze whether the investigated product imports were done under dumping.
Period of Analysis (Injury)
On the other hand, the Ministry of Economy established that the period of analysis is going to be that from April 1st, 2021, to March 31st, 2024. This timeframe will be used to determine an injury to the domestic producers of Epoxidizes Soybean Oil.
Deadline
The last day for exporters and producers to submit its information to participate in this antidumping investigation is October 29th, 2024. A deadline extension may be requested.
