Adrián Vázquez Benítez is the managing partner and director of the Mexico City’s office. He is the head of practice of international trade and has participated in virtually all of trade remedies investigations in which the firm has participated.

Experience of Adrian Vazquez

Mr. Vázquez advises and represents multinational companies, as well as foreign governments in trade and market access issues, particularly on antidumping, subsidies, safeguards, origin of goods, as well as in the interpretation of trade agreements. Mr. Vázquez frequently appears before administrative agencies, the Federal Tax Court, Federal Courts and NAFTA Panels. Additionally, he has advised foreign governments on dispute resolution matters in connection with WTO challenges.

Remedies (Antidumping)

Adrian Vazquez advises and represents industries and companies in trade remedy proceedings, such as antidumping, subsidies or safeguards, handled by the International Trade Practices Unit of the Ministry of Economy. Also, Mr. Vazquez advises Mexican and foreign companies in similar proceedings conducted by foreign authorities.

International Trade & Dispute Settlement

In addition to participating in origin of goods proceedings and in the interpretation of trade agreements, Adrian Vazquez frequently appears before administrative authorities, administrative tribunals and the Federal Judiciary, as well as Free Trade Agreement Panels. Additionally, Adrian Vazquez has advised foreign governments in WTO dispute resolution.
