Sunset Review of Polyester Staple Fiber Originating from China
Yestarday, July 1st , 2024, the Ministry of Economy published the Initiation Notice of the sunset review regarding antidumping duties applicable to polyester staple fiber from China.

Product Under Exam
PSF with a range greater than 1 denier (linear fiber mass density) and less than or equal to 3.2 denier and a tenacity less than 6.9 grams per denier; excluding dyed fiber of any color (including black) and that which is low melt or siliconized. Such merchandise is generically and commercially known as polyethylene terephthalate staple fiber, polyester staple fiber or polyester staple fiber, while its technical name is polyethylene terephthalate fiber or polyethylene terephthalate, which is known as polyester or PET (for its acronym in English of Polyethylene Terephthalate).
