Victor Cancino joins Vázquez Tercero & Zepeda as a Partner in the Banking and Finance practice, strengthening the firm's advisory services in financing structures, capital markets, and cross-border transactions. He has extensive experience representing big companies, national and international banks, private equity funds, pension funds, and institutional investors in high-value transactions with complex legal implications.

Experience

Victor has led the legal strategy on relevant structured finance transactions, syndicated loans, senior revolving credit facilities, project finance, and private credit structures. Most recently, he advised Mercado Libre Mexico in different financing transactions with banks such as J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs and Citi. He also advises on investments in local and international private equity funds for one of Latin America's leading institutional investors: Sura Asset Management. He has represented international banks such as Santander and BBVA in local and cross-border structures, including financing in Latin America and Europe.
