La Secretaría de Economía anunció, desde finales de febrero del presente año, que se aumentaría el Impuesto General de Importación (IGI) para mercancías del sector textil y calzado en virtud de las solicitudes de la indutria nacional por la expiración en enero del presente año de los aranceles temporales. Finalmente, el día de hoy se publicaron en el Diario Oficial de la Federación dos Decretos que modifican la Tarifa de los Impuestos Generales de Importación y de Exportación, aumentando el Impuesto General de Importación (IGI) para dichos sectores de manera temporal con aranceles que varían desde el 10 hasta el 30%.
DECRETO por el que se modifica la Tarifa de la Ley de los Impuestos Generales de Importación y de Exportación y el Decreto por el que se establece el impuesto general de importación para la región fronteriza y la franja fronteriza norte.
DECRETO por el que se modifica la Tarifa de la Ley de los Impuestos Generales de Importación y de Exportación, el Decreto por el que se establecen diversos Programas de Promoción Sectorial, el Decreto por el que se establece el impuesto general de importación para la región fronteriza y la franja fronteriza norte y el Decreto para el Fomento de la Industria Manufacturera, Maquiladora y de Servicios de Exportación.
Además del aumento temporal de los aranceles, existen otras modificaciones aplicables , por ejemplo, para el PROSEC, IMMEX, y la Franja Fronteriza Norte.
De acuerdo con sus transitorios, los Decretos entrarán “en vigor dentro dea los 15 días siguientes al de su publicación en el Diario Oficial de la Federación” y “concluirá su vigencia a los 180 días naturales siguientes a la entrada en vigor del presente Decreto.”
