El pasado 27 de julio, nuestro socio Eduardo Zepeda estuvo presente en la Reunión Plenaria del Consejo Nacional de la Industria Maquiladora y Manufacturera de Exportación (INDEX), que se celebró en la residencia oficial de la Presidencia de la República con el Presidente Enrique Peña Nieto.
Eduardo Zepeda se ubica en la segund fila (de adelante hacia atrás) y es el quinto (de derecha a izquierda).
En la reunión, el Presidente enfatizó que “el 88 por ciento de las exportaciones son manufactureras...de 2012 a 2018 las exportaciones no petroleras han aumentado 31.5 por ciento.” Asimismo, se tomó nota de las diversas reformas “estructurales” tales como la reforma laboral, financiera, telecomunicaciones, la Ley de Zonas Económicas Especiales, así como inversión en infraestructura de carretera, ferroviaria y de puertos.
El Consejo Nacional del INDEX reiteró la importancia del programa de fomento IMMEX, haciendo un hincapié en un “Marco Jurídico 4.0” para la industria de exportación, así como programas de fomento en materia de deducibilidad y facilidades fiscales, y responsabilidad y sustentabilidad social.
